The E-mini S&P 500 futures contract is available for trade on the CME Globex platform. Electronic trading is conducted from 2:00PM PT through 1:15PM PT the next day.
Trading example: If you purchase 1 contract of ES at 850.00 and the next day it moves to 870.50, you have a profit of $1,025. Inversely, if the price dropped to 829.50 the next day, you would have a loss of $1,025.
