The CCI Index represents the ninth revision (as of 1995) of the original Commodity Research Bureau (CRB) Index. The CCI Index consists of 17 commodity futures contracts. (Crude Oil, Heating Oil, Natural Gas, Corn, Wheat, Soybeans, Live Cattle, Lean Hogs, Sugar, Cotton, Coffee, Cocoa, Orange Juice, Gold, Silver, Platinum, and Copper. The CCI Index is available for trade on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). Electronic trading is conducted from 11:30PM PT through 11:45AM PT the next day.
Trading example: If you purchase 1 contract of CI at 217.50 and the next day it moves to 217.90, you have a profit of $200.
